Deina is a boundary-pushing alternative R&B artist whose music combines spirituality, healing, mindfulness, sensuality, and empowerment. With her sweet melodies and unique lyrics, she brings a fresh perspective to the genre.

Deina's vocal style is heavily influenced by her Greek heritage. Growing up, her mother always had Greek singers playing around the house, exposing her to their distinct vocal riffs. This upbringing, coupled with her Jamaican roots and love for reggae music, gives her vocals a unique and captivating flavor. Her voice can go from soothing and soulful to powerful and belting, showcasing her range and versatility.

Hailing from a tough neighborhood ( New Cross ) in London, Deina turned to hip hop and music as a means of escape. She formed a girl group with her sisters and caught the attention of renowned Virgin Records, earning her first label offer and worked along signed jackie Davison. This experience ignited her passion for music and set her on a path of artist development and growth.

In 2018, Deina took a leap of faith by deciding to take control of her career. She independently released her first EP titled "The Group Chat," an innovative project that dives into the conversations that happen in girls' group chats. Deina recorded her personal conversations and used them as interludes for each song,

creating a relatable and intimate listening experience. "The Group Chat" received high praise and caught the attention of NOISY, who premiered the EP and led to a full interview with R&B presenter DJ ACE from BBC1xtra. The EP also featured tracks produced by the Grammy-winning producer P2J, adding to its quality and recognition.

In her most recent project, Deina found support from Help Musicians/MOBO Awards and The PRS Foundation, who funded three incredible singles. This project was a reflection of Deina's personal journey, as she hit rock bottom and turned to self-help books for solace and healing. Inspired by her own experiences, she created a music album version of a self help book that combines the power of music with mindfulness and self-improvement. Her goal is to offer a unique way for listeners to heal and uplift themselves.

Notably, Deina's recent singles were mixed by Billy Hickey, a talented mixer known for his work on albums by superstar artist Ariana Grande. With this collaboration, Deina's music reaches new heights of professionalism and sonic excellence.

Deina's artistry is a mix of her diverse and multi-cultural influences, resulting in a sound that is both refreshing and authentic. Her unique vocal style, introspective lyrics, and innovative.
